Abstract
A brief summary of your research paper that proceeds the in-depth analysis. The abstract also helps the reader quickly understand the purpose and significance of your paper and should motivate the reader to read the paper with curiosity and excitement. For regular course papers and signature assignments the abstract should be two to three good paragraphs and between ¼ and ½ page in length.
Section I: Description of Organization and Title of Position

Section II: Job Analysis and Job Evaluation
Conduct a job analysis of the select position. Begin by providing the formal definition of job analysis as described in the text. Discuss your decision to conduct a job requirements job analysis, or a competency-based job analysis, or a combination of both. Describe the process of collecting information about the select position. List tasks or KSAO’s. Bring in info from O*Net. Prepare a Job Description of the select position (see rubric).
In this section, make sure your job analysis is sufficiently detailed. What type of job analysis method did you perform? Give the steps you completed, how that step applies to your position in the organization and what resulted from completing that step and how you completed it. Why did you decide to use the method (or methods) you selected? (The nature of a job analysis here focuses on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and other attributes (KSAOs) AND responsibilities and/or job tasks. Note: a job description is the result of a job analysis. A full copy of your job description should be placed in the appendix. Provide a summary of your job description in the body of the paper. It should be written in paragraph form. Do not use bullets or lists here. Perhaps, explain the role of your job. Make sure to include in your summary the nature of the job (a job summary), a few critical tasks, a few critical KSAOs, the reporting structure of the job (the job’s supervisor), etc.
Section III:
Develop a recruiting plan for the chosen position utilizing the theories discussed in the text. Discuss recruitment strategies, models and goals. Evaluate the need for internal recruitment, eternal recruitment, or both (see rubric). Outline the steps in the process and show the reader how to apply each step as it relates to your specific org and position. Create a job announcement and include the KSAO’s or job requirements you are looking for. Place the announcement in the appendices.
Section IIV Discuss the selection process for the chosen position, providing an analysis of each step in the selection process as outlined in the text (ie., in an external selection process, evaluate initial assessment methods and substantive assessment methods; in an internal selection process, evaluate skills inventory, peer/self-assessments, etc.). Define and discuss a structured vs. non-structured interview process. Prepare a list of interview questions to be included in your appendices. Finally discuss your decision-making process for determining a final match as outlined in the text.
Conclusion
Restate your abstract in a way that shows you have met the purpose of the paper. Two or three paragraphs.
References Section
The references section is always started on the next new page. In fact, I like to end the paper by adding one blank line after the last paragraph and then I insert a page break which can be found in the Insert Tab in Word. References sections should look like this:
References
AEO. (2000). King Snefru. Retrieved November 1, 2018

Wikipedia. (2017, November 11). Training and Development. Retrieved from Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Training_and_development

If you are not using the Word Reference Manager, then list all the references that you have gathered so far. If you are using the references manager, add the references section here with one click of the mouse!
Appendices
The appendices start on the next new page after the references. To make this easy, just ad a blank line below your references section and then insert a page break. The appendices include all your images, lists, long quotes, charts, graphs, models etc. You will list them as figures, i.e. Figure 1, Figure 2 etc. and refer the reader to the figure in the appendices. It could look like this:

Appendices

Figure 1
All Dogs Go To Heaven & Read Ellen

Add any figures you have gathered so far. Number them and be sure to note where you will be referring to them in your paper.
