Article Review

In this paper, write 2 separate answers to the paper questions below. You will need to complete your answer both questions in 1250-1500 words total (including references). Importantly, the two sections are equally weighted.

Section 1: Watson was concerned with both the topic of study and the methods of the previous schools. Using only the 1913 article as a source, explain his concerns about both, and explain how the behaviorist approach addressed those concerns. Also explain what the Little Albert study was and why it was important using the Watson and Rayner (1920) article as your source.
Section 2: Explain the rise of Cognitive Psychology as a counterpoint to behaviorism. Why was cognitive psychology necessary? Discuss the work of the neo-behaviorist Tolman and explain why it was a move toward cognitive psychology (use only the Tolman 1948 article as a source). Finally, discuss the contributions of Neisser to cognitive psychology and his take on the computer metaphor (what was his point of view of the computer metaphor; use only the Neisser chapter as a source).
You must use correct grammar, spelling, and APA formatting of citations and references (these are graded). For citations to the textbooks, you need to include page numbers of the cited materials (this is allowed under APA).
You must accurately cite your references both in the text and include all references in a reference section (you must have a reference section).
You may not quote anything in your ENTIRE paper. You must paraphrase ALL OF the remaining material.
You may ONLY cite and reference books and journal articles in your paper. NO websites.
The word counts are MANDATORY! Violations are an automatic 10 point deduction. The word counts include anything in your paper!
