Annotated Bibliography

The annotated bibliography portion of your Identifying 21st Century Problems project is due.  For the annotated bibliography you need to create a properly formatted annotated bibliography of three relevant, reliable sources related to the field you have chosen. You must use library-researched sources. Please do not use only mainstream media or online publications. You may choose either MLA or APA formatting for your bibliography. Each entry in an annotated bibliography consists of the bibliographic information properly formatted, and an annotation written in paragraph form. The lengths of the annotations can vary significantly in annotated bibliographies, from a couple of sentences to a couple of pages.  The expectation for this project’s annotations is that each of your annotations will be 1-2 paragraphs (approximately one paragraph for summary and one for evaluation/explanation of value). You may review the Annotated Bibliography Instructions  that were provided in a previous week.  This criterion is linked to a Learning Outcome Quality of sources selected 5.0 pts Proficient Includes three relevant, reliable sources related to the chosen field 3.75 pts Developing Includes two relevant, reliable sources related to the chosen field 2.5 pts Emerging Includes one relevant, reliable source related to the chosen field 1.25 pts Not Acceptable Did not include relevant, reliable sources related to the chosen field 5.0 pts This criterion is linked to a Learning Outcome Quality & clarity of the summary of ideas in sources and evaluation/explanation of value of those sources 10.0 pts Proficient Student establishes and examines connections between their sources and broader ideas in their topic, and among different sources.
